Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia

Sex Discrimination

Reservations were made at a hotel by two groups at the same day, for the same room types, and both agreed to the same terms. After calling to cancel the rooms over a week ahead of time, and on the same day, the man was fully refunded his money, while I, a female, was told nothing could be done. I feel like my group has been discriminated against. Am I right?
