Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am over 18 and I live on my parents property; not in their house but on their property. I found a dog and they let me keep it and even offered to pay for the initial vet bills. However now they wish to give the dog away due to it being 'untrainable'. The dog is registered in my name at the vets office and such, so is it legal for them to give the dog away or can they legally only sue me for the vet bills?

Their property, their rules. It is as simple as that and it does not change when you get to 18. It is unfortunate they do not like the dog, so you have three choices. 1) Move to your own place. 2) Get a good home for the dog. 3) Ask them to agree for more time if you get the dog professional training.
