Child support

My husband and I are seperated and have been for 2 years, we fight over child support all the time he tells me that he doesnt have to pay cause an attorney told him so. He tells me that I should meet him to get our son cause that is my job. I dont know what to do because I want my son to be close with his father but he never calls or comes to get him just to. HELP

If the court ordered him to pay then he must pay. If not he can be held in contempt of court and be fined or sent to jail. Contact you county Office of Child Support Services. If you like e-mail me and let me know what county you live in and I will track it down for you.

As for where to meet that you divorce order may be able to be modified so that it spells out who picks up and drops off the children and where. If he violates the order or if you do then the violating party can be held in contempt anf fined or jailed.
