Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My daughter turned 19 on April 24, 2010. In my divorce decree, her father no longer has to pay child support after she turns 19. He still pays for her health insurance (he has another younger child by someone else and has family insurance. It cost no more for her to be on it.) She is a full time college student and works part time. In the divorce her father was to claim her every third year on his taxes. This would be his year to claim her. I pay for her college and support her by myself. He pays for nothing. I feel that I should be able to claim her on my taxes. At what point or age is he no longer able to legally claim her? Thanks

What you feel is not as important as what a Judge ordered. The math and calendar should have been apparent when the decree was entered. If you want to change the arrangement (if you could), what would you plan to do for the prior two years when your ex did pay support but could not claim her?

What you think is fair is irrelevant. What the judge's decree says is what matters. The arrangement ends whenever it says it ends.
