Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

How to give custody of children to grandparents in state of Ga?

I attend school in a different state and financially unable to support my children, they already live with their grandparents and all parties agree to these terms. The other reason I am choosing full custody is I am planning on joining the Air Force after next semester. A Single parent can not join having any full custody of children. The father of the children does not live in acceptable conditions and would agree to terms as well. Since I am leaving for school in January we would like this handled swiftly. Can this be an administrative action where a custody agreement is signed by judge vs having to summoned to court and going to trial? What options are available?

The solution is to see a lawyer who primarily handles family law in your area to discuss the issue and take the proper steps. it is not just about custody, as you and the father have an 18 year obligation to support your children.

The answer is simple - obtain a lawyer. This does require a court case. The father will also be involved.
