Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband was charged with domestic violence 3 years ago he was issued a protection order which he violated by stealing a firearm I didn't know about this until after the order was terminated. He is now and absconder from probation in nc for another crime he has not seen our son in 3 years. Can I have his parental rights terminated? I now live in georgia which is where we were married

You refer to him as your husband which means that you first step is to get divorced and seek custody. As a general rule, there is no cuch thing (unless someone adopts the child) as terminating parental rights, but under the present circumstances sole custody is certainly something a judge might do in your divorce. Get a lawyer and file.
