Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my husband's ex girlfriend/mother of his 3 year old son, just told us tonight (thursday) that she is taking our son and moving to south carolina on saturday! we dont have set visitation but have set child support of $600 a month that was just set in september! She has had numerous jobs in the last 6 months and 2 other children in alternative school because of skipping school getting drunk and selling prescription drugs at school. is there ANYTHING we can do to stop her from leaving????? i heard of an Instana or something like that. PLEASE HELP US!!!!

If he has legitimized the child, he can file an emergency motion to obtain full custody of the child. In the request, you can seek to have the move stop until custody has been resolved.

If he is serious about obtaining full custody of the child, he should retain an experienced family law attorney in the Columbus area.
