Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I left my wife because I thought she was cheating April 5th 2010. She wanted me gone. I continued to pay her bills because she said she needed the help. Two months later she bought a house with another man and paid for it in full on June 23rd 2010. She continued to see me telling me she loved me. She kept lying to me and dragging me through counselors where she would lie and finally I had enough. I filled for divorce on November 20th 2010 and she continued telling me she loved me and seeing me. She moved into an apartment and stayed there and continued to see me. After I had left her April 5th 2010 she bought a house with another man on June 23rd 2010 and paid in full for the house putting it in her name and his. On the deed she had the paperwork done with the e dropped off the end of her name so I wouldnt find records of the purchase. After she drained me of my savings she stopped seeing me. Filed to have a final hearing and its on November 7th 2011. She now lives in that house with the other man and in joint tenancy. Do I have a right to claim part ownership of that house? I originally filled saying that it was uncontested and all personal property was settled. The petition was returned deficient paperwork so a settlement was done it was deficient and returned. I finally checked records and found she had lien on her and me because of taxes and a lien on her and the other man because of taxes. Thats when I found the house she had bought with another man. I really want all our furniture and personal property back. But can I get it and can I claim part of the house she bought with another man?

A lawyer will need to review everything that has been filed and other evidence in order to help develop a plan for you. Hire a lawyer to assist you without delay.

It sounds like you have really botched your case. No one should file pro se. But the good news is that sometimes that can be fixed. Get a lawyer now to amend your pleadings, do things right and go to court with you.

If she failed to disclose the house, that may help your case.

Good luck.
