Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been married for 23 years and filed for divorce in June, my husband and I then got into a physical confrontation in front of the kids. I tried staying in the house but felt I was not safe. I tried to make this marriage work for the last 9 years when I found out he was arrested soliciting an undercover police woman for sex.
