Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

If I plead guilty to battery (family violence) but I did not hit the person and it's been 4.5 yrs since convicted, can I change my plea? I need this to come off of my record because it's interfering with my education. We are married, and I did not know that we did not have to testify against each other. Plus, I did not hit him, so I don't know why I was even charged with battery.

Those were issues to discuss with your lawyer BEFORE entering a plea.

You can't change a case 4.5 years after it happened. Why didn't you discuss this with your lawyer at the time?
