Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am the primary custodial parent of my daughter and share legal joint custody with her father. Can I legally move to another state with her.

Since no on here has read your custody paperwork, no one here can answer you. Your lawyer should have discussed the issue with you at the time of the paperwork, and he can answer your question now as well.

Look at the custody order. Some orders require the custodial parent to contact the other parent if she intends to move out of state. If you have share legal custody with the father, it is likely that you will have to resolve this in court if the father opposes the move. It is probably better to resolve this before moving.
