Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I was served with summons out of cherokee county Ga. To appear in court to answer to their charges on a civil case ( my never ending divorce case ).

My ? Is her attorney filled the papers on April 4, 14

I was served with the papers on April 11, 14.

Do I have the 30 days from them filling it or 30 days from the 11 when I was served, to respond to them.

I don't want to fall into the 30 day (no hear) default and they get everything they want.

First of all divorce cases do NOT go into automatic default. Having said that, there are reasons to file an answer (and counterclaim) within 30 days of service on you. Do NOT do this without a lawyer. Let me stress that. Pro se cases usually are a disaster and the mistakes you make will usually not be fixable.
