Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

My dog was attacked by my neighbors pitbull. The dog came onto my property and attacked my dog. She was injured and I had to pay a vet bill. My question is: Is there anyway to sue her for the vet bill and have a ban placed on her prohibiting her from owning a pitbull. The police and animal control was called to the scene. The animal control removed five pitbulls from her property. Animal control said she must pay all fines and meet other criterias in order to get her animals back. Since this is the case, could I submit a lawsuit against her for the vet bills and ban her from those type of dogs since this is not the first incident against her. Any info would be appreciated.

If you have concerns about the dogs, you need to discuss with animal control. Otherwise, you can sue for the bills but you certainly should request that the neighbor pays the bill prior to taking that step if you have not done so.
