Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Needing License Back

A friend of mine had her license stolen years back. She skipped her court date and was sued for an accident that happened while the other girl had her license. Now her license is on hold due to this lawsuit. If she pays the fine and plantiffs, it is considered a guilty plea. No one has been able to help her. The lawyer is in South Carolina but I'm not quite sure where the accident happened. We're in GA. I realize how much she has procrastinated has been the biggest problem, but how can she get her license back without having to plea guilty to the charge since she's not the one who got in the accident in the first place?

Re: Needing License Back

She should hire an attorney where the accident happened and once that is cleared up, her license will be reinstated.
