Legal Question in Health Care Law in Georgia

perscription plan requires social security number to pharmacy

perscrioption plan for my daughter, requires she reveal her social security number to each pharmacy prior to filling a persciption, if she wants to use her plan and pay a co-pay. I thought this was no longer going to be a requirment in this world of idenity theft??
