Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

I have been in the U.S. since I was 5 yrs old my mother brought me and my sister of 11 months after leaving my father back in Mexico to give us a better life in 1992. I married my wife at 19 yrs old she is a U.S. citizen we have been toghether for 5 yrs now, we have two daughters a 3 and 4 yr old. We are struggling fanacially becuase of my legal status my question is, "Is there any organizations out there to help my wife and I to help us get me a green card or even just a work permit or is it better for my wife to file a immigration form directly if its faster? Thank you for you help.
