Auto Insurance Grace Period

I was 2 days late paying the final premium of a 6 month auto policy. The pymt due date was the same as expiration / renewal date of the policy. I made the pymt over the phone and was told there was no lapse in coverage. I have been a customer of this company for many years and still am. My vehicle was totaled during the 2 days and my GA insurance company told me I was not covered. Was I covered?

I am not sure what you mean by "made the payment over the phone?" If you paid the premium and they accepted the money before you had the wreck there should be coverage for the incident. Insurance coverage can be a complicated matter and to give you a better answer more factual information is necessary.
