Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Georgia

I have a U.S. Patent. A company has infringed. I can't afford to sue. These are hard times. The retainer alone was more than I have in my bank account. What should I do?

Find the money and hire an attorney or accept the fact that there will be infringement. You could also offer to sell the patent to them.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answers. Your damages for patent infringement can, in certain cases, include attorneys fees. If this applies to the infringement you mention, you may be able to find an attorney that will take your case on a semi-contingency basis. Consult with a good patent or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
