Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Georgia

I recently wrote an article which was publiched by a regional magazine. In it I utilized two illustrations, both based on real life events. I deleted all names and locations, keeping the parties involved strictly anonymous.

One of the illustrations was not a very flattering one. I'm wondering, if the person that it is about were to read it and recognize himself, or become aware that he was the subject of that article, would he have any legal case against me for writing it?

Thank you..

We haven't read the article, but possibly yes and possibly no, depending on the content. You should have seen a lawyer before submitting the article. If you have a problem, it's too late to fix it.
