Judgment

I was living in ohio and was relocated to GA 3 mths after my move my old landlord filed a judgment for property damage in Ohio which now it has been 4 years I pulled my credit report and relized this had occured can they file even though I was no longer a resident and was not notified of the suit for damages?

I do not know Ohio law specifically, but they have to serve the defendant before obtaining a judgment. However, there are was to serve via public notice, proxy, etc.
