Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

legal right to residence

I was in a long term relationship with someone until recently. This person moved into my home that i am renting to own and my name is the only name on the lease and purchase agreement. our aggrement prior to moving in was to pay 1/3 (i also have another roommate) of rent and utilites. what my question is what legal right does this person have to my home if their rent/utilites have not been paid in full? do i have the right to change the locks without notifing my ex? and does this person have the right to claim this a place of residence if no utilites are in this person's name?

Rarely will a landlord (or sublessor) have the right to simply lock a person out without going through the eviction process. Apparently, it is that persons home too, and rarely are utulities in the name of more than one resident.
