Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

i moved into a town home where the appliances were not in tip top shape, the stove eyes didnt work, the refrigerator didn't keep refrigerator items cold or the freezer iems frozen it would take days for this to happen, I alerted the land lord from July 5th until July 25th I didnt have a working refrigerator I was told I had to wait until another tenant moved in order to receive their refrigerator, that happened now the land lord won't discount my rent because of this, I had to eat out everyday feeding 7 people for the 20 days in question, I text him the amount of the 20 days in which came to 500.00 he refuses to discount my rent for the total amount spent, only for 50.00 what should I do?

Certainly the landlord is not going to agree to unlimited restaurant expenses that add up to more than a repair or even a new refrigerator (and probably a significant percentage of the rent). A broken refrigerator is not a blank check to eat at restaurants and expect the landlord to pay for it (and it is also not necessary to begin with), and it is not reasonable to expect that. Lower your expectations, make a deal with the landlord, and find a better place when your lease expires. You don't have a legal issue worth bringing up.
