Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Can a person be forced to move or give up pets? I live in a community in Ga. and for the last few years we get harassed by property managers regarding our dog. The dog has never bit anyone and barks only when people come to the door. About 18 months ago I was given a pit puppy who is companion to my older dog. She is fiesty but has never bitten and like the other one barks when people come to door. She is loving and plays with my grandchildren with no problem.

Last week the management came and told us we have to get rid of them. Can they do this???

I am at my wits end and ready to live on the streets if I must.

You fail to tell us the most important detail - what is in your lease. Read it. No one can answer the question for you without knowing this information. If that does not have the answer- what other community guidelines are there. Again, we don't have this information.
