Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I am renting a condo that has a malfunctioning toilet that overflowed and did damage to the downstair condo. I notified the landlord and he never sent over a plumber to fix it and know the ower of the downstair condo is trying to get her insurance deductable from me. I'm i liable?

Your neighbor or her insurer will likely end up wanting a lot more than a deductible from you or the condo owner. Either you or the owner should have insurance that covers damage done to someone else's unit. As far as liability, we don't know any details about the malfunction or what caused it, and you did not tell us.
