Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Georgia

Want to purchase a 2007 motorycle from an individual. They never registered it. They bought it new for just over $10,000.00. Payoff left is just over $4000.00. If I purshase it and get it registered, will I have to pay for the orginal asking price or the NOW selling price to have it registered in my name. They bouth it sat in garage, fully covered with insurance, and only about 100 miles on it.

You posted in an area about legal malpractice and lawyer's canon of ethics, which means that probably no lawyers on LawGuro who deal with consumer issues will ever see your post. And what you did post is unanswerable, as no one here has read your bill of sale, which would show the price you and he negotiate. I should note that regardless of all that, you would not want to buy this motorcycle. The fact it was not registered but seems to be financed is a huge red flag that this is not a legitimate sale. Run away from this "deal." Incidentally, he's probably lying to you. No lender is likely to sell a bike without holding the title and requiring it to be registered. And you CAN'T buy it unless you pay off the loan in full.
