Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

I went to the hospital because i started having contractions and they were 15 mins apart. I was told that they could be stopped. When i arrived at the University Hospital in Augusta, Ga my contractions were still the same. I did not have a REAL doctor instead i had INTERNS that didnt know what the were doing. She put the IV in my arm wrong and had to redo it then she gave me some kind of shot and told me that it would stop the contractions but it didnt, it increased them. When an REAL doctor came in it was to late because i was 7 to 8 cm dilated. At 4 in the morning my son got sick and they did not NOTIFY me about this until a little after 8 and that's when the called and asked me to come down to the special care nursery and they said there was nothing more they could do. CAN I SUE THEM FOR THIS?

The same answer you got last time - sure you can sue anyone for anything. A malpractice suit is based on an expert medical opinion that physicians acted negligently. A bad result is not enough. Those are not obtained from an internet forum based on 2-3 sentences. If you want to find out if you have a claim, you will have to see a lawyer who primarily handles medical malpractice claims (not a lawyer who claims to handle all kinds of injury claims), and they will tell where to go from there.
