Forclosures

Ihave recieved a summons from my mortgage company. I WENT TO THE Courthouse to answer to the papers like the cop said to do but i was told i have to file a answer to the summons form they couldnt tell me where to get this form or what to do can you ?

Look on the information that you received. You probably have something that indicates the name of the court, such as he Superior Court of the county where the action was filed. The office of the clerk for that court should be able to assist you. You might want to determine if there is a Georgia Legal Services office that you can contact for guidance BEFORE you file your answer. Refer to the Georgia Legal Services internet site.
