we filed bankruptcy in May 2007. Our home was destroyed by fire Nov 2007. When I contatced our mortgage company the told me they would keep all proceeds and I should shop around for another mortgage company. I informed my bankruptcy attorney who filded a motion to allow us to substitute cash as colleteral, Our mortgage company did not protest, they were sent the check for endorsement on March 15, 2008 and have not returned it. It appears they have misplaced the title and lien to house.

I have since gone over our payments and found where payments were credited to two othere companies or not posted at all.

When ammended their papers in court after final hearing and we went from 84,000 owing to 94,000 owed.

Is there someone we can go to and show the paperwork and determined if this is a honest mistake or fraud
