Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Security Depo

We are a homebuilder. We have rented several of our units because we have to have the income to pay the bank the interest due. We allowed a tenant to move in after they gave us the security deposit. They were going to get us the first months rent in two weeks. The security deposit check bounced and we still have not received the full security deposit or the first months rent. We want to evict them but would like to do it quickly. Since they never paid the full security deposit or the first months rent is there a quick way to get them out or do we have to file the regular documents with the county?

Re: Security Depo

You will have to file a dispossessory action. The fact that they didn't pay the security deposit and first month's rent does not expedite the procedure.
