Legal Question in Social Security Law in Georgia

Social Security Denial on Fibromyalgia +

I have filed for SSD on fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, migraine headaches, polyneuropathy, herniated disc C6-C7, and sleep apnea. I also am obese secondary to several of the medications I am on. One of those have been stopped and the weight gain has slowed but my weight is still up there.

Today I received my denial letter from Social Security, and do not know where to turn next. Is there some site that would point me to an attorney that isn't a couple of hours drive away from me, who would work with me on fighting this denial? I am not able to work, regardless what this letter says. This short note to you has my muscles in knots! I do hope you can answer me on the BBS or in email.

Thanks.

Re: Social Security Denial on Fibromyalgia +

You must appeal within 60 days of receipt of the denial. We handle Soc. Sec. disability claims on a contingency basis---no fee unless you win. If we are too far away, visit Nosscr.org---they have a referral service.
