Legal Question in Family Law in Germany

My question is that I had gotten married in Germany and I wanted to know what state I would fall under if my spouse and me decided to get a divorce, or could I file in any state sence we got married out of country?

It depends on the each state's particular jurisdictional law. In NY, you have to meet the residency requirement set forth in the DRL.
