Legal Question in Consumer Law in Idaho

I'm being billed after paying full price.

I recenly went to a Medical Clinic to have a non work injury to my elbow looked at. It was the first time I had used insurance from my new employer. Not having met my deductable I knew I was going to pay for the visit. I saw the Doctor, he injected my elbow with some ''steroids'' and a pain reliever-I was in there ten minutes tops. I check out, the Desk Person typed up the bill, including the injection charge and told me I owed $101.00. I paid the bill and left. Two days later I recive a bill in the mail for an additional $160.00. I promply went to the office and inquired after this ''bill''. I was told they forgot to ad this ammount, the reason given was the service was to a ''trigger'' point. I refused to pay on priciple but need to know if I have any legal ground to stand on, am I right or can they bill me after I payed the ammount (in good faith) specified by them? Thank you for your time and trouble.

Re: I'm being billed after paying full price.

they can charge you for the full cost of the service provided, whether or not they asked you for the entire amount at the first visit. What you want to ask is Whether this new charge is a usual charge charged to all patients. Determining this can be very difficult. But see if they have some written policy statement stating what they usually charge for, etc.
