i took out a loan back in july of this year with the full intention of paying it back. since then things have happened so i will not be able to pay the loan back. i cancelled my future dated check that i gave to the loan people. I am now fileing for bankruptcy. The people that i got the loan from are now starting it was grand theft and are going to report it to the police. i did have a police officer come to my house today. Can they report this as grand theift? When i file for bankruptcy will it take this away or can they still press chanrges and will i have to pay them back?
