Legal Question in Administrative Law in Illinois

No Insurance

I was in a incident one month ago and the driver did't have prove of insurance and was driving on a suspended driver--name removed--license. I have called my insurance and they only have the name of his insurance. They don't have no policy number nor do they have a number to his insurance. The name of his insurance is America Family Insurance. So I do not know what to do from here.

Re: No Insurance

Hello. Being hit by an uninsured motorist is

always a headache. My question to you is whether

your insurance covers you when your vehicle is hit by someone with no insurance. You should

check your policy to see what coverage you have.

Depending upon the extent to which your vehicle

was damaged, you may want to consider filing a

lawsuit against the other driver. I do not

suggests doing this by yourself. You should get

a lawyer to evaluate your situation to see

whether it is worth filing a lawsuit. I trusts

that you made a police report. I will be happy

to answer any additional questions that you may

have.
