Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Bankruptcy and employment

I've read about bankruptcy in Illinois. It seems one of the requirements is that you must be employed to file. Is this true? The reason I might have to file is that I lost my job and haven't been able to get another. Please help.

Thanks.
