Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

CPAs

Our CPA has destroyed our business

bank statements and cancelled checks

without our permission or knowledge.

We are in Will County, IL. What should

we do...is there a state agency that we

can report this to? Was this illegal?

It sounds illegal. Your recourse is limited to suing the person. The state can file charges, but probably will not.
