Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

If you are the general manager at a restaraunt and one of your employees is getting married. Let's say you want to throw her a bachelorette party at the restaraunt, on a day it is closed, is it legal to hire a stripper to come and strip for you at that restaraunt? This is in the state of Illinois. And if not, what is the punishment? Thank you!

There is nothing illegal about hiring an entertainer to come to a private party. You should keep in mind that Illinois does have other prohibitions against prositution, drug possession, and driving under the influence. But, based on your info it would seem the the party is ok...if you have the authority to allow the use of the restauraunt for such purposes. There is the potential for a criminal tresspass issue to arise if you do not have the authority allow use of the premesis on closed days. Check with the owners of the property to be safe. Have fun and congrats.
