Mediation/Arbitration Clause

I own an expo marketing business. In our contract is an agreement to try to mediate through an arbitrator with concerns. I have had a myraid of individuals breach the contract by leaving the show early because of low attendance - which is prohibited in the contract, congregating and discussing issues in front of customers - which is in the contract, and reversing credit card and check transactions which is in the contract. I would like to move forward with a lawsuit with these companies.

I was wondering that because we agreed to mediate and these persons went outside of the contract and decided to take the law in their own hand; if I can now go through the regular court system.

If I understand you correctly, this is your contract which says you will arbitrate disputes, and now you do not want to arbitrate your disputes. Obviously, I would need to review the contract, but it seems to me, you need to arbitrate.
