Legal Question in Technology Law in Illinois

Hi I live in Illinois and I feel that the possibility exists that I may be charged with warranty fraud because I am unable to produce my proof of purchase after making a claim and I am told that they have no record of many of my warranties. Do I have legal options even if nothing has been done yet?

Go to the store and ask for a copy of your purchase documents. They should show whether you purchased a warranty. Ask the store for something showing the standard warranty if you did not purchase an extended warranty. This does not seem like anything but using common sense. I don't see any need to discuss legal options since you do not appear to have a legal problem.
