Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

If I buy a 56 inch tv at a local retailer, and I pawn it and I still owe money on the TV and dont pay the retailer can the retailer get the tv back from the pawn shop? or wil I be sued?

It might be possible for the retailer to obtain the item from the pawn shop, but my guess is, the retailer does not want the item back, the retailer wants the money.
