Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

We were charged twice for an internet purchase. The company said that they would credit one amount. They even gave us a confirmation number of the refund transaction. The refund has never been applied. They now refuse to return my calls. I have gone through the credit card company and they couldn't do anything. Now I have gone through the Il State's Attorneys office and they could get no response so they turned it over to the Arizona State's Attorney. The Az State's Attorney has written them a letter.

What should I do next?

Why didn't you contest the credit card charge when it appeared on your statement? Try the Better Business Bureau in AZ, because attempting to sue may depend on the amount of the duplicate charge -- it may cost much more to get a judgment even if you win. You can also communicate with the company you're going to file a complaint with the FTC and FCC; you can file complaints on line with each agency.
