Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

morgage payment

on our morgage we have autowithdrawal thru our bank account. didnt have the funds in the account at the time of a withdraw. according to them after that they quit trying to withdraw automatically. the money was and has been in the account since the day after. now they say that i'm months behind and have turned it over to there attorneys......they will not allow me to pay what i owe them, this has went to forclosure status and that i must contact there attorneys and pay the past due amount (which i'm fine with) $2200 and there attorneys fees..etc $5000 +. is there anyway to lesson or get out of this....they now say that i only have to july 1st before they will sell my home to the public. we have been in contact with them regarding this since the day it happened and they've assured us that we are current but upon request never received anything to prove so from them, now this...what can i do? i cant let our home go and I simply cant afford this.....help? ihave the money for what i owe them, its always been in the account....but not much more than that....advice please.
