Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Illinois

If I pay my creditors only what I can afford to pay them, because I lost my job that was helping me to pay on time and pay the minimum, but now I am making minimum wage what can the creditors do to me?

The problem is your definition of what you can afford and their definition are very different, If you have a minimum wage job and one of your creditors has a judgment, all they can get is 15% of your gross wages. They can get nothing more from your wages. Other assets are subject to seizure, but you have certain exemptions which you can claim. Those can be readily found.
