Is there a statue of liminations that a doctor can bill you for services.My doctor appointments were in 2006 and 2007, and after every visit I asked the doctor and his billing staff how much do I owe for the visits and the doctor said do not be concern about the bill, and then I asked his billing personnel and they checked as I was standind there and they informed me the insurance paid up to date with no balance including today`s visit. Everytime I visited the same doctor I asked the same question and recieved the same answer, no balance. Today November, 2 2009 I recieved a bill from the same doctor for $ 800.00, which included all those above visits indicating balance due for those visits .Does the doctor have the right to bill me more than two years later ( never recieved any statement of services owed prior to todays date) ?
