Are you out on bond? If so, the conditions of most bonds require you to remain within the jurisdiction where the charges are pending against you or face forfeiture of the bond. Do you have an attorney? If not, you should immediately hire the very best criminal defense attorney you can afford. Your attorney will enter an appearance for you in the court, and then see if the state's attorney and the Judge will agree to continue your case(s) and allow you to go on your trip. Your attorney can then either defend the charges against you or negotiate a plea bargain on your behalf. If you are located in or near my geographical area, I might be able to offer my services to you. Please feel free to contact me.
