Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Early Release from supervision

I'm currently on supervision for retail theft. It was my first offense and the supervision is over in October. I need to get an insurance license ASAP or I will lose my job. Do courts usually grant early release for cases like this? I spoke with the licensing department and they said I could get a license as soon as the case is dismissed. Thanks for the help.

Re: Early Release from supervision

You are on probation? You can move for early termination if all conditions are complete and monies paid. Usually probation does not end with dismissal however. Call me if you would like me to handle this motion for you.

Re: Early Release from supervision

You must motion the court for early termination, but all conditions must be met; e.g., fines are paid in full, community service (if any) complete.

Feel free to contact my office to discuss.
