It has been 3 1/2 years since my conviction. I want the felony removed. Charge Cannabis Traffic/2000-5000 grams

We answer a LOT of questions about setting aside convictions. Go to the Q&A Database and search for other answers in the Michigan Criminal Law section for terms like setting aside a conviction, or expungment.

The bottom line is that you have to wait at least 5 years after your conviction to try to set aside your conviction, so you are ineligible for at least another 1-1/2 years. Another thing to consider: this must be your one and only criminal conviction (felony or misdemeanor).

The process is technical, so it is wise to hire an attorney to make sure your paperwork is in order, and the best possible argument is made to the judge to get the relief you want (since it is a discretionary call by the judge).
