Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

If a kid leaves a bike in my yard and leaves it there over night and it gets vandalized can anyone in my house go to jail when other people say it was a person who lives in my house that did it?

The doesn't really seem to be a jailable offense. It seems more likely that the guilty party would be fined and ordered to pay restitution for the bike.
