what does quashed mean in lament terms? Like if I have a warrent and they quashed it.

I think you mean "in layman's terms". "Quash" means it's "squashed"!!! Not to be flip, but it means that a judge said no to whatever it was, so that if there was a "warrant", it is no longer enforceable, meaning nobody can use it. Whether the ruling will be appealed I can't say, but a warrant is often just a preliminary step in an investigation and may prove to be of little importance in the long run, or they may try again to get a warrant issued by digging up more evidence first. Eventually however is trying to get a good warrant issued may win.
