Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

my daughter got a dui 6 years ago she it was her first offense and she went to rehab for 3 months and has no other offenses.She was recently arrested for an old warrent for unpaid fines due to that offense.Is there a statute of limitations on unpaid fines and how long could they keep her in jail? she is in Illinois and now legally blind

No there is no statute of limitations on unpaid fines. She will likely be held until she either posts bond or has a court date to determine whether she can pay the fines. If she cannot pay the fines, the court may give her credit for time she spent in jail but this will have to be negotiated between the attorneys.
